Szn of love

 As someone who always believed that love is meant to be expressed everyday, I do not take valentine's day as special as other people consider it to be. It might be weird to hear but yeahh, for me it is just an ordinary day. But of coursee I still appreciate how my friends and loved ones make me feel extra special that day. 

 To be completely honest, it used to be one of my fave occasion, like something I am always excited to happen, but then time flies and we also grow up and our perspectives change as well. Maybe I have learned that love should not only be seen or felt during the 14th of February, it should be with us every single day, and the most pure form of it is the one that is being felt when we are at our lowest point of our lives. 

 Well, I still had much funn this year's hearts' dayy since I got the chance to celebrate it with the one and only Ely Buendia, Maki, December Avenue and other singers who made my 2025 valentine's salubong muchh happier. It was a night full of blast and truly is something I'd lovee to always have. They somehow made me feel better and filled my heart with so muchh joy despite the silent battles I was going through.

I was also in Dagupan City for my RFOT before I watched the concert sooo it was a bonusss for me. I was there to fight for VIGAN CITY DIVISION and it was also a dream come true, so I can say that I still had lots of fun and fulfillment even without fancy stuff to end the day. 


 And of course, it was still a good day sincee I was with my co-officers of Mathematics Club and they made it even more special by being by my side. We sold bunchh of crocheted flowers and got the chance to have a memorable bond while fulfilling our duties and responsibilities. 

 To all my people out there who never failed to remember me during these times, thankk youu so so muchh! Me being included in your thoughts truly mean the world to me. And I might not be able to feel the spark of valentines' day again, I am glad that I am still surrounded by people who never let me feel that I am alone and are always willing to make me happy even in the most simple ways. 


I am forever grateful for having people like them in my lifeee. Everyday, I love them so much more than just the hearts' day. 🤍🤍🤍

VAWC: TIME TO RAISE AWARENESS THROUGH ADVOCACY In our society, cases of abused women and children has exploded over the years.  More than 70% of sexually abused children are between 10 and 18 years old. Among those victims, 20% are under 6 years old. Cases of child sexual abuse are one of the most common issues that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has to handle after abandonment and neglect.  Despite the Anti-Rape Law of 1997, rape remains the most frequent type of sexual abuse, followed by incest and fondling. 98% of rape victims are women. The incest percentage is another alarming data: 33%. ● 98% of these sexually abused children are girls. The 2015 Child Protection Network Annual Report states that 87% of all cases of sexual violence are girls, 11.7% of which occurred in the family home.
