Grandest of Celebrations: ISF 2025

 When they say "the grandest of celebrations", Ilocos Sur truly did not disappoint. From the fun activities since day 1 up to the veryyy thrilling concert during the last day, I can say that Kannawidan will always be a top tier! 

 I may not able to witness and join every activity they had, it was clear to the faces of Ilocos Sur pips that it was filled with pure fun and enjoyment. Well, what do you expect from IS? of coursee the best of the best as always. 


And to share my memorable Kannawidan 2025 experience with y'all. Here's a short recap! The only event I was able to participate in was the last day concert—celebration. Since I was in Dagupan City for a competition, this was the only time I had to celebrate the said event. I went to the concert with friends and it was truly an amazinggg night! Just like last year, I got the chance to be in the front row and it was sooo close to the artists. We jammed with the singers and it was a blast experience that'll be forever kept in my heart. 





Who would've thought that the girl who only admired her fave singers through online, will get a chance to watch them live, soo closeee and even hold their smooth handss?? Aaaaaa this is indeed a dream come true for that little girl in me. All thanks to Ilocos Sur for bringing my dreams closer to me. 

"Makipagragsak, Intayon Ilocos Sur", the chant that will always stay with me. My beloved Ilocos Sur, Ipagpanpannakkel ka. 💙🤍

VAWC: TIME TO RAISE AWARENESS THROUGH ADVOCACY In our society, cases of abused women and children has exploded over the years.  More than 70% of sexually abused children are between 10 and 18 years old. Among those victims, 20% are under 6 years old. Cases of child sexual abuse are one of the most common issues that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has to handle after abandonment and neglect.  Despite the Anti-Rape Law of 1997, rape remains the most frequent type of sexual abuse, followed by incest and fondling. 98% of rape victims are women. The incest percentage is another alarming data: 33%. ● 98% of these sexually abused children are girls. The 2015 Child Protection Network Annual Report states that 87% of all cases of sexual violence are girls, 11.7% of which occurred in the family home.
