A blast of the last ✨️

 This last quarter of the school year made me realize so muchh. It's soo unbelievable to think that oh, I already made it to the end? Time flies reallyyyy fast, indeed. It was just like yesterday when I first entered junior high school and in just a blink of an eye, I am already a completer. And now as I look back to my journey, ICT will always have a spot in my heart. I may not be that good in computer things, but these blogs always make me appreciate the progress I am making. 



 Since I started making reflection blogs, I have realized the true essence of reflecting on the things I have already done just to strive for the best results. And now, fourth quarter is about to end, of course there are still a lot of thrilling moments. 

 I have learned this time the different amazing computer thingy which I admit that I am really not good at it, but atleast I've got helping hands from the people who helped me make everything possible. Being someone who's not that good in such things as computers, it is indeed a blessing to have people who are always willing to help me in every way possible, making it easier for me to accomplish my tasks. 

 Talking about how bad I am at those stuff, it has always been my struggle since day 1. This lack of skill has indeed hinder me from making good outputs. And I guess, this is the real 'challenge' for me. 

 But, nothing can stop someone who's dedicated enough to excel despite the hardships she's facing everyday. And as like what I have stated, it was all possible because of the people who stood by my side through it all. It was really tough that it made me burst into tears thinking that I am a failure, just because I am not good enough at something. But I did all the very best that I can to prove that I am here, because I am deserving to be here. 


 And moving on, I will continue to aspire to learn for so much more, even if it takes so much time to do. I am willing to discover more and enhance my skills so that I can already be good enough even on my own. 

 It was a blast and a funtastic journey indeed. This is something I will always look back at and have the biggest smile on my face. I am forever grateful for all the learnings I have gained. 

 Big thanks to our ICT teacher and practice teacher for making it all easier and more bearable to handle. 

 As I bid my goodbye, I promise to forever treasure everything that has happened within this journey. May it be the blogs or the computer things, all will be kept in my heart.

  HALFWAY THROUGH SUCCESS  Looking back on this 2nd quarter journey, I really had a roller-coaster of emotion. VAWC: TIME TO RAISE AWARENESS THROUGH ADVOCACY In our society, cases of abused women and children has exploded over the years.  More than 70% of sexually abused children are between 10 and 18 years old. Among those victims, 20% are under 6 years old. Cases of child sexual abuse are one of the most common issues that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has to handle after abandonment and neglect.  Despite the Anti-Rape Law of 1997, rape remains the most frequent type of sexual abuse, followed by incest and fondling. 98% of rape victims are women. The incest percentage is another alarming data: 33%. ● 98% of these sexually abused children are girls. The 2015 Child Protection Network Annual Report states that 87% of all cases of sexual violence are girls, 11.7% of which occurred in the family home.
