Hi, I am Kate Angelie Irorita of Mabilbila Sur, Santa, Ilocos Sur. A girl who has a simple dream: to graduate and give back to the hard work of her parents. I am a Grade 10 SMC Student and I aspire to be a Certified Public Accountant, someday. If you are curious about my personality, well I am very clingy whenever I am around with the closest people in my life, also a jolly and bubbly girl. But in this blog, I will let you discover and dig deeper into a roller-coaster situation I have been in and how it made me even more stronger. 


Since I was a kid, my family would always say "You're such a smart girl, I know you will become a successful woman in the future." and it used to be my inspiration, but almost everything has changed. When I entered Junior High School, that is when I started getting pressured, not just with my academics, but also with the life i'll be having. I doubted myself together with my abilities, skills, capabilities, talents and everything. I was drown with negative thoughts, overthinking rather, that caused me negative impacts and almost ruined my mental health. It was not as easy as drinking water, or writing letters, counting numbers. It was like being imprisoned in a four corner room with no lights, nor not even a sight of a sunshine. The little girl who's not afraid of anything has turned into a girl who doesn't like socializing anymore. I became helpless, a hopeless young woman. 



   But life didn't end there. Because of the faith I was holding on, I kept going no matter what obstacles faced me. I didn't let my frustrations eat me up, instead I used it as an inspiration to cope up, do better and be better. Now that I am in my 10th grade, i've learned so much from my past and I already know how to deal with those things when it happens again. My jhs life became more bearable because of my bestfriends and because of their encouragement. I continued doing things I love and makes me happy.
 
   

  God moved in a very mysterious but amazing way in my life. The way everything came to life once more, I would say that the Lord is indeed greater than any problem I have dealt with. His plans and words changed me and I can be a testimony that even the darkest days of our lives can still become the brightest ones. We all just have to be strong and believe, because HE is indeed real.

   I am now happy and living the life I have always wanted to have. Working on my future and continuing to build better things for better tommorows ahead.

  REFLECTION: ROLLER-COASTER JOURNEY Looking back with my journey, I have realized that I did really well despite the circumstances I have faced. I learned not only the lessons our teachers taught us, but also the things that can help me cope up better in the next quarters. THEMATIC: THINK GREEN, LIVE GREEN    I cannot remember when was the last time I saw a forest with so much GREEN trees in it, an ocean with PURE BLUE water and a park with NO WIDESPREAD WASTE around.  It saddens me how our Mother Earth is slowly turning into something terrible and different because of the irresponsible people. Isn't it ironic that we demand a beautiful place to live when in fact we already have it, but we tend to destroy it instead of taking care of it? This is the reason why we experience a lot of natural disasters because we do not know how to protect our nature.  World Environmental Day is a global platform for raising awareness and taking action on critical environmental issues. It serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve the planet we call home.
